As a past WFA staff member and Girls of Promise® project director, I am so proud to present this new website!
While reviewing a draft of the new Women’s Foundation of Arkansas website with the staff, we decided that a stand-alone site would be most beneficial for Girls of Promise®. The site is designed to be modern, fun, responsive*, and an all-around easy to use and helpful resource.
The program’s rich 15 year history means that there’s a lot of background to eventually load onto the site. Because of that, the WFA staff and board, Girls of Promise® planning committee, and I very much appreciate your support and patience as we continue to add more content. In the mean time, we encourage you to explore! As you’re wandering about the site, please do contact WFA if there is specific information that we haven’t been able to add yet.
*Despite our best efforts, registration forms are not responsive at this time, so if you open up the student, chaperone, or speaker application pages on your mobile device, they may span the screen a bit.
After six years on WFA’s staff, Amanda founded AMP•SEE Ideas in order to provide freelance communications and project management services to small businesses and nonprofits. When not working, she may be found promoting livable urban design, speaking up for equality & education, wandering about with her camera, or experimenting with local foods.
