Thank you for submitting your application to attend the 2017 Girls of Promise® conference.
You will receive a confirmation email at the email address you submitted with your application. Because future information regarding your application status will be sent by email, if any change in your email occurs, it is your responsibility to send an update to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In that confirmation email, you will receive a copy of your Student Application.
The Girls of Promise® committee will review all completed applications and accept 150 students to attend for the upcoming Girls of Promise® conference. Every effort will be made to select applicants from across all regions of the state. As stated elsewhere on the site, all parts of your application are required for you application to be considered and both student essays and teacher recommendations are weighted in the selection process.
If you find that you need to resubmit your application, the application with the most recent date prior to the deadline will be reviewed. Previous submissions will be deleted.
All students must submit a signed waiver.
NO ONE MAY ATTEND THE CONFERENCE WITHOUT A SIGNED WAIVER. This should have been submitted with your application.
Do you have a Chaperone?
All students must be accompanied to the conference by a chaperone. A chaperone is a responsible adult your parent(s)/guardian(s) entrust you to and who will be responsible for up to ten students at the conference. Go ahead and make sure you have a chaperone lined up!
Applicants will be notified of acceptance status via email by [date to be determined].
